About Us

Vicki Edwards, the founder of Remarkable Minds, is an educational professional,  mentor, facilitator and speaker.

Ms. Edwards has taught in regular K-8 classrooms in Tennessee and Texas.  She has also worked exclusively with intellectually gifted and twice exceptional (2e) students.  Her vast array of experience and knowledge have equipped her to effectively provide support to schools and parents across the southeastern part of the United States. She has lobbied for Tennessee’s gifted learners and their families in Washington, D.C., served on the executive board for the Tennessee Association of the Gifted (TAG), and written state educational standards.  A speaker at several state conferences, she has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Texas A&M University, and a  Master’s degree in Gifted Education from Liberty University. She is the only person in Tennessee authorized by Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG) to lead Model Parent Groups.

Remarkable Minds works with families and professions to do what's best for children.

In order to insure continuity, Remarkable Minds operates as a liason between  all parties involved with the student.  We are available to confer with physicians, psychologists, and other health professionals in an effort to ensure that you have the clearest picture of your child’s needs and a game plan to help each of you move forward with understanding and success.
